Michaela Gulbin CPA, Specialist in Taxation (Partner)

Michaela started with the firm in 1989 and has been a partner since 2009.  She was born in Dover England and has completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Swinburne Institute of Technology (now Swinburne University).  She has also completed a Master of Taxation degree through the University of NSW.  She is a CPA with a professional designation of Specialist in Taxation and is also a Xero Certified Adviser.

Her professional interests include all areas of accounting and taxation for small to medium size businesses with a special interest in capital gains tax, superannuation, GST and effective taxation structuring.  She is passionate about working with clients to achieve optimal taxation outcomes.  She has an in-depth understanding of the Australian Taxation Office administration and procedures and liaises with the ATO on a regular basis to assist clients.

Michaela is a member of CPA Australia, the Tax Institute and the SMSF Association. Michaela has served on local Boards of Management, she has been the honorary treasurer of various local not for profit organisations in the North East Victoria. Michaela lives in Wangaratta with her husband and two children.  When not working, she enjoys sailing with the family, gardening and quilting.

William Ivey CA, (Partner) 

   

Will was appointed partner in 2016 after joining the firm from Ballarat where he completed his university studies and worked at a national mid tier accounting firm in public practice.

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ballarat (now Federation University) majoring in Accounting and Business Law. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

His professional expertise includes providing accounting, taxation and business planning advice with a focus on tax minimisation, risk management and wealth creation. Will is also on the board of director's of the Care Van Foundation Albury Wodonga.

Will and his wife live on his wife's family farm on the Ovens River where in his spare time he enjoys fishing and the great lifestyle North East Victoria has to offer.
